The page spacing here is
rather long, but there's
a point to it. Each and every photo is
unique, and deserves attention of
its own.
Many of them have a predominant color.
Therefore, the image spacing is set
up so that
most monitors will display only
one image at a time on
screen. Enjoy!

Chessie
is the sweetest cat in
the world. Regardless that it took for ever
to get
him to hold still long enough
to snap this shot. No camera, and he sleeps like
a
stuffed toy. I walk in
with the camera. Okay. Time to stretch, get up, etc.
But I
got the picture anyway.

This
subject didn't have as much
of a choice when he (it) posed for
this
photograph in our home garden.

This
originated as a present for
my cousin, who turned 2 last year.
I had
been playing around with
the lanterns, and one snowy
friday
night, I decided to make
something of it, like a child's dream.
The
lanterns are bright and vibrant,
and all the classic
toys
are in the background.
The lantern light gives it that
kind of
far away and dreamy look,
and really sets the mood.

Even
lowly green plants on an old
and peeling windowsill
can be
subject to a photograph.

The
new bridge in Boston.

Okay,
this time I got my picture
taken. Thanks, mom! This was at the beach
in
Chatham, Mass over this past
summer vacation. That's an 8 foot kite
with 6
foot streamers, and 500
feet of line in my hand.
While
flying the kite, people said
they could see it from almost 2 miles
away.
I
saw a kite the same size in a
bird design, like a mayan art one,
almost
hieroglyphic is style, and
bright orange, like a native american
drawing.
Image seeing that
flying up in the sky. I've also
seen
giant tike heads (like Easter
Island crossed with Spongebob.)
Now
that's a kite!

This
photo was just screaming to
be taken, after a brief snow squall
in the
spring of 2004. The
snow melted on the window, giving
a
perfect texture, and the light
was just so to light up the tine bear
while
backlighting the house.
